What is the purpose of these ethics learning courses?

The goal is to ensure all members understand APS’ ethical standards, code of conduct, procedures, and their responsibility in recognizing and responding appropriately to potential ethical breaches. In addition, learners will build skills to lead in an ethic-focused culture.

What are the benefits for members to complete the ethics learning courses?  

Members will deepen their understanding of APS ethics standards, code of conduct and investigation procedures through videos, games and knowledge checks. The courses unpack our ethics processes and offer practical skill building to navigate ethical situations while building trust and fostering respect.

How long will it take to complete the courses?

The courses are micro-learnings that take up to 15 minutes to complete. You can view them at your own pace and if exiting before completing the course, you can return later and resume at the exact place.

How much do the eLearning courses cost to complete?

The ethics learning courses is a member benefit that is included in your cost of membership.

Do I have to take the courses in the order presented?

The courses are designed to be taken in the sequence provided, and we strongly recommend you progress through the curriculum as it’s designed to get the most out of this learning experience.

If I exit the course, will I maintain my progress and spot in the course when I return?

Yes. If you need to take a break, simply close your browser. When you return, you will pick up where you left off.
